Looking for info on this sign. I have only seen this sign in person twice. Any info would be great. I think its from the early 1900's. Its about 22x28 black back ground with gold lettering. Some damage from when it got removed but for its age in really good shape. Any idea on a value????
Love it, is it yours?
It is until monday. I just sold it. Lost my job and need the money for the holidays.
I have only seen a handful of authentic Blatz pieces with the Star on them...nothing later than about 1933. I have only seen one other sign (different design, but still with the star) and the owner dated it to pre-1900. I believe you had one of the oldest known Blatz pieces. Too bad you couldn't hold onto it.
Does anyone have an idea of what this was worth?? Just making sure I didnt get a raw deal.
How much did you sell it for?
400$ It seemed like a good price???
Hmm...you might be okay then. I wouldve said 300-500. Anymore old Blatz stuff?
No, sorry that was my only piece. A friend of mine has the same one but its in rougher shape. Thanks alot for your info. It helps shed some light on my mystery.
Thanks for sharing! Its cool to see stuff like that. I am from the midwest so I'm familiar with Blatz :P
Great sign. It's too bad you couldn't hang on to it. OR
Give it to me :)
Agree w/ Viking, cool to see.
