This is an item my mother picked up a long time ago.
The size including the frame is approximately 9" x 13". The material appears to be some type of stone.
I am not sure what it is or its approximate value. Any ideas? Country of origin?

this is a really cool piece!! i think that it is a natural stone formation appreciated for the shadow image of a person bathing or something. i know that images which appeared to be like something else were appreciated in old China.
