This clock is pretty unique. It was made in 1971 as a gift to my Grandpa, who was a minister at the time in Illinois. The wood is mostly made out of "Antique Oak," at least according to the sticker on the back. The face of the clock is cool because it was made in West Germany, and shows the days of the month around the face. It needs to be fixed (I think a gear is not working correctly, it moves but not the pendulum).

It looks like you have the clock laying down with the pendulum still attached. If so, that's a big "no no" with these types of clocks. As a matter of fact, you really shouldn't even move the clock with the pendulum still hanging. Doing so can knock the clock out of beat, damage the suspension spring, crutch or even the expensive and delicate escapement wheel/verge assembly. The pendulum rod might even be out of the crutch which could explain why the clock's pendulum doesn't currently move. That would be a very easy fix.

Thank you for the good and sound advice! This clock was hung up on my Grandparents mantle over the fireplace, and hasn't worked in years. I am gonna try and get it fixed in the near future. I'll take a couple pics of the back too either today or tomorrow.
