Since this was going to be my 100th post I decided to do it in vontrike style and use this Colson,, yes, same as the Bicycle company,, vintage child's hospital bed, or transport maybe. Guessing perhaps 30's ? This has an oak bed with adjustable head rest. It sits on a chrome frame suspended on springs. It has the fold down sides and a nice creepy feel to it. It had to be terrible to be inside this box. It was at the Flea market today, and at first I walked past it,, but turned around to take a closer look. Of coarse,, it came home with me to reside in my collection. Thanks for checking it out. vontrike.

Thanks much,, officialfuel, mrmajestic1, sayer34, and kerry10456. Might have to sleep in this tonight cause I have a uncanny knack of getting myself in the dog house with the wife.

Thanks toolate2. The doghouse is good size, and soon will have cable in hopes of ''Collectors Weekly'' TV. Kerry talked to me about his adventure. What a lucky stiff.

Just kidding, but it could be a interesting show with interviews with some of the knowledgeable collectors, and some of the more colorful ones also. It would explain the difference between hoarding and collecting, and educate like this site, about collectables and history to more people.

Thanks DJSundrop, and walksoftly. AR8Jason,,,I would not be one of the knowledgeable collectors,,,,,, so that would leave colorful. Orange jumpsuit, with a Hannibal lector mask rambling on about casket handles.

No problem. I am here to learn from everyone else on here and find out what they collect. I myself just love anything old and its history, but tend to focus on the, as I say, darker antiques. Might have something to do with my love of old horror movies as a child, and the look on peoples faces when they walk into my garage the first time. And,, I would love watching a show that highlighted my friends on CW, that was not scripted.

See,,I just learned something. I had heard of Damacus,, but never really knew what designated it as, till I just did a Google search. Anyway, sounds like you have a really cool item there. I once did a Facebook post about what do people have hidden away in their house that they think is creepy. I had a few post an answer, but most did not. Seems some are kinda freaked out about certain items, but at the same time, curios, because they ask questions.
