I picked this etching up for two bucks in a little place named Top Of The World in Arizona. I've tried looking the artist up and I am hitting a brick wall.
I have found a Rubin from Romania that did paintings there and Pakistan. His paintings are mostly florals and that is all ive found so far.
Looking at the etching it could pass for a citizen from either country. If you can tell me anything about this artist or etching I would love it as I've fallen in love with the etching.

      What a lovely etching.

When I look at the script I see "Stephen"
And possible "V" "Ni or Nu Kin" I wonder if his R is a N? and the "b" is a k?

When you look at "stephen" his "n" looks alot like a "u" - Rukin? Nukin etc....

lol I just re-read that and hope it makes some sort of sense!

This does appear to be a etching of St. STEPHEN. I have found paintings and etchings from other artists that are similar.
