      Hi, I used to have a set of chairs just like these. I believe they are called Thonet Chairs. The name Thonet, was the guy who invented them and they were special and different because of the "bentwood" design. These chairs were especially popular in bars and restaurants. Mine were from the 1950's I think. And under the seat they were all stamped "Made in Poland". Check under your seat to check for any manufacturer's markings. Hope this helped.
