This is why my friends are mean

Ok, so I went antiquing the other day and found a group of 4 plastic gnomes from West Germany. I didn't have much cash on me, so I only bought one (that's him, balancing on my foot). I have a friend that collects gnomes, so I texted her and told her to go grab the others. She did, and then started harassing me about how the gnomes missed their brother. This went on for about 20 minutes, me not wanting to give him up, her wanting him badly. Finally I told her if she had anything to trade, I may consider it. That's when she pulled out her ace in the hole. She knew that I had a Charlie McCarthy ventriloquist doll, and immediately sent me a picture of a silverplated spoon that has Charlie's likeness on top and says Charlie McCarthy along the stem. Needless to say she got her gnome. Don't know hold old the spoon is, but it's awesome and will be put with my Charlie doll. She can have the rubber gnome. ;)
