    Hi Everyone..Does anyone know which model this reel is? The info received this far was,.... "The highest the reel models goes is 800. Your reel appears to me to be a model 501 Universal Special reel". This came from a garage sale along with 6 others(not EVH) and a vintage tackle box..Any help would be greatly appreciated..

      The 960 Is the reel's serial number. EVH marked them this way before he assigned model numbers with a serial number. For more information you can visit https://reelsnlures.com .

      Salt water EVH reel very cool to say the least I will follow it w/ one of the smallest JVH Fly Reel
