Hi Experts and vintage furniture lovers alike!

I have this beautiful, brass that I would love to know more about (its rarity, value, maker?). It is truly gorgeous. The brass base folds. Somebody told me it is called a spider base. The tray looks to be Persian of some sort. It is all in fabulous condition, and has that hollywood regency style to it. Maybe it is 1960's Italian...? I could find anything like it online. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I have a similar one that was brought from Egypt in the mid 60's. Your picture is small so it is hard to see the motif on the brass that would help us discern its origin.

My aunt had a table just like this, but it was sold at her estate sale a few years ago. :( I called my cousin for more information on it. Apparently my aunt's sister had travelled and brought it back for her. That was almost 40 years ago now. She had been to Egypt, India, and Asia... so it was from one of those places, if that helps, and supports trunkman's thoughts on origin as well.
