I am doing my bedroom around the colors in this old lamp. i wanted to restore it If you plug it in you will burn your house down. as you can see it is in need of lots of TLC
So on my quest to find parts to restore it I was told STOP this is possibly 1 of a kind. Very early Chapman back when they were hand making stuff and selling out of their car to show quality.
I suck at online research I have searched and searched to no such luck to find anything about the Lamp or the person who made it . the company is looking to see if they have the part I am needing. That is how I found out some history of this lamp.
it is SOLID brass and heavy no dog tail can knock this over!
So any info anyone can give me about this I would Love it and I need to see if I need to take an insurance policy out on it or go ahead and restore it oh yes it is early 51 at the latest. according to the plug and when they stop making that type of plug ,
it is so beatiful when turned on we did turn it on for a few seconds...
