I found this in an old dilapidated building many years ago. The outside is cast iron, cast in a two piece mold, and it is lined on the inside with porcelain. It is quite heavy, weighing several pounds. You notice the flat place on top of the handle to rest your thumb while pouring.
The height is 5-1/2” with a top diameter of 4-1/2” Note the interesting markings, can anybody decipher that?
enjoy

I love cast, not sure why.
I suppose we can rule out it being a prototype of the Mr. Coffee machine???
Thank you very much fhrjr2, any idea of the markings??

My links to databases etc. is on a hard drive that isn't in a computer right now. I have been working on a couple thousand baseball cards and no longer use my server, I am swapping drives. I will pop the drive in a spare computer this afternoon and see if I can locate the marks.
Thank you very much pickingupbones & scandinavian_pieces
No luck finding that mark yet. I am looking for my link to flagons and tankards. There are some pretty off the wall marks there I will check.
