This is a nice salesman sample of a 1903 Bowser Gas Pump. I've added a magazine add from 1903 showing the pump in use. There is a brass plate on the bottom of the pump reading: "Property of The Bowser Oil Company, Not For Sale". I also have a full size version of this pump. I've collected gas Memorabilia for 30 years and this is the first one I have come across.

I have a ten gallon visable gas pump with back forth pump that pulls fuel from a tank underground tank and two top globes. Can someone tell me how old it is and it's possible worth. It;s in piecies but I believe that it is complete.

I have a pump full size just like this one in good shape i have conveted it into a pump lamp in my living room without disturbing the pump itself, it is a wonderful piece. It is missing the original Bowser brass tags although and i would
love to find some if you ever run into a rare find like that.
I think your salesman sample is a gem. I would like a clear picture of it if at all possible, i would frame it and place it on my so one would understand the antique. Thanks for shareing i really enjoyed it!

Hello, I recently came along an old gas pump located in the garage of a rather elderly man, who I imagine inheritided it himself. Its a Kellogg 1904 that is all original parts and paint. I had to ask some one what it was because of its age and I didnt know the history of gas pumps. After seeing your picture it is almost built in the same design as yours except the tank itself isnt with it. After seeing yours I imagine the tank was right below my feet. Ill look into seeing if I can obtain it still. I was wondering if you could direct me to some info about it and its value. Like I said its a 1904 Kellogg which is imprinted an the front along with its pattent #. It doesnt look like it was ever used. Once I cleaned the dust off I thought it was some kind of pump for a beverage tank like a keg. I didnt know Kellogg was a pump company so I was thinking the food company. Anyway any help would be nice and Ill take pictures tomorrow and share.
