    This watch was a present to me of a old friend before died.....he say me that the watch was propierty o his grand pa...he lived around de 1800s in palestine.....thanks

      We need to see the works to get an accurate date. Can you screw off the back? If so, take good clear photo of the works. There are very knowledgeable people here that will gladly tell you about your watch. Jimbo

      Hi,
      This is a relatively modern watch (early 1900's) It has what is called a dollar watch movement. The dial is very eye pleasing but the watch, I am sorry to say, the only value may be sentimental. They were mass produced in Switzerland and only sold for a few dollars when new and most likely imported into the US.
