Here are some replicas of early "O" guage locomotives made in Germany. These replicas were manufactured in Germany and are worth their weight in gold. Well sort of! Try finding them on the web!
Pic #1, is not a replica. It is Marklin. I have it on another page here but I wanted to show you a better pic. It is completely original. I believe it dates back to the 1930s. Excellent condition in every way. Sometimes seen on important European auctions, however, seldom in this excellent condition.
Pic #3 is known as the crocodile because it articulates three ways. Designed for the Swiss mountains, to pull heavy freight trains where steam engines run out of steam LOL.
Pic #4 shows details of the front, or back of the loco. Big bulb old style headlights.
I thought I'd post the web address of one European Toy Auction House.
I think I spotted my Green Marklin on the front cover.
