    I'm not sure what this is, I'm guessing that it's some kind of bottle opener. It looks like it was mounted on something and the back has an opening but I'm not sure for what. Anybody seen one before?

      Yes it's a bottle opener, JFO # R-11. It should have a corkscrew in the openeing at the bottom/back. Patent to M. D. Avillar, May 21, 1929, #78,544. Value ranges from $50 to $100 depending on condition and any advertizing stamped on it.
