My snow tube given to me by an aunt i just wonder is it old and collectable i did read that the early globes had lead content glass and later plastic but it was the figures of the boy and girl in navy uniform sitting on the rocking horse with a bear under that i am sure i have seen before the base has several items molded around it and it is made of a composition but the globe is very heavy and glass and my curiosity has the better of me and would be pleased to know more thank you
I am not sure that it is real old. what does the bottom look like?
Hi the base is a white material very hard not chalk but like a hard type of brittle
material like soap stone with file or saw marks across the base to level with a 5mm hole drilled in the centre thank you
