    This piece stands 7" tall and is 4" wide. The colors are superb. Often called the Loetz "zipper" decoration for obvious reasons. Tiffany and later Quezal also produced this decor and today, an example by Tiffany would bring well into the five figures.

      cogito, ZIPPER FORMING, See Page 346 in Loetz, Bohemian Glass 1880-1940 for a visual description on the procedure that includes the formation of these dots as part of the process in making of vase 56a on Page 109. You can see the zipper-like dots in the yellow glass.
