I picked this photo up at a auto show/swap meet Sunday. The Wells n Son Garage has 2 previsible pumps, a Fisk tire sign and a Firestone tire sign. In the backgound you can see a Texaco Station with 2 Fry Visible Pumps with Texaco globes and 2 wheeled Lubesters. I cant make out the 2 signs above them but they look familiar. enjoy.
Thanks packrat-place, Manikin, officialfuel, walksoftly and stonesfan1 for loves and likes.
The top sign says packard in the middle and service on top of sign cant make out bottom sign though but i did notice the little guy on top of the texaco station wonder what that is
The other sign is willys-knight service sign there is one on ebay
Thanks BELLIN68 and gargoylecollector, glad you love this.
Thanks Trey for sign info, that guy looks like a chimney sweeper.
i got (a ruff version) of a (what my dad calls) a 1917 Willis Overland Knight 9 pass. touring car. I call it "the Clampetmobile" , just need to put Grannys rockin chair in the back. WAY down on my list of things to restore. If u get down this far south look me up & come take a tour.
Thanks to Manikin, mikielikesigns2 and garrybeair for lookin and lovin.
Thanks mikielikesigns2 for invite, would love that, hope to someday.
