Most of you will know by now that my eye for attributions is pretty terrible. I hardly ever get it right! Mind you - it's not made any easier that hardly any of my pieces are marked in any way.
This piece is therefore unusual, and exciting, for me. It has a country of origin mark associated with post-1918 Kralik production, on a recognised Kralik decor. Even I can't get that wrong - I hope. You will find examples of Kralik pieces in this decor on both kralik-glass.com and Alfredo's site, https://sites.google.com/site/loetzandglass/kralik-6--straight-mark
The only complication is the rest of the numbers/letters marked on the pontil mark. They appear to be handwritten or painted on, and I am assuming until told otherwise that they were added later as catalogue marks for someone's collection. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful to hear them.

Thank you, Czechman! She's 6.5" tall, 5" top diameter, 3.75" base diameter.

Thank you Czechman - it's a wee bit grubby at the moment, or you'd have a full interior picture, but the colour is even more stunning in person.

Thank you, Obscurities! I thought the secondary marks couldn't really be anything else. I'd love to know where it came from, to have such a developed cataloguing system. I found it in France, that's all I know, but it cannot always have been there, or I assume the mark would have carried the French spelling.

Thanks Jericho - found them even before you posted here! This was another France eBay find, so I heartily agree - vive la France eBay!!

I'll have to try that! I tend to stick to warm soapy water, a soft brush and when things are really bad, glass beads. The beads are especially good when you can't get into the long slender necks with a brush.

And now you've spoiled it for me! I had visions of the teeth swimming around in the choicest pieces of Czech glass! ; ) Still, give it 30 years ...
