Hello..
I have a very old Giard-Perregaux (solid gold) watch that was my grandfathers or grandmothers?
It is a very nice shape ! not one mark on the glass and the gold looks great. I guessing this is from the 1930's or 1940's...
He (my grandfather) has long passed...I'm 50years old.. this watch works.. keeps good time so far for the past few hours.. i winded it up (only 2nd time in 13 years)
I have stored this watch in a dry place for the past 13 years since I moved into my grandfathers home some 13 years ago.
I cant seem to find a picture of this model on the Ebay,,,or on the Internet, I see stuff close from the 1940s but cant find this watch.... if you look were the band hooks to the watch it is different..they stick out..
Can someone please give me a idea of what model this is and around what year is was made, my eyes are hurting from looking at this computer for hours on end trying to find this watch.
