    The only guess I have for this piece is as a match box holder. I am thinking the match box would fit on the top, then you would put the match (after blown out) into his mouth. here are no markings on it. It is either brass or bronz. Any info would be apprciated.

      I agree with 'matchbox holder'. Perhaps you could strike the match on his furrowed brow? Love the manic look too: the Joker!

      Agree with vetraio50...definitely a match holder and striker, possibly on his head but! also on the ridges on the sides, fun thing...:-)

      I just noticed there is an initial on the bottom...looks like a "K" in an larger oval ..with possibly an R on left and 0o on right inside oval....any ideas what that stamp is????
      Wish I new some history on it so I can sell it.

      Used a different eye loop - it " K & CO" stamped on the bottom...still havent found another like it or any info

      I have searched and STILL can't find another similar or any info..anyone know anything about this piece???
