This is another one of the many amazing things my uncle purchased many years ago. He told me he purchased this from an art dealer back in the 60's in New York and paid a decent amount back then for it but it was his first big purchase as a young new business owner and he just had to have it. Words can not even describe how beautiful this piece is and it has to be at least 4 feet tall. There is some damage on the canvas but overall its just a neat piece and the closest thing I found to who could have done it was Peter Paul Rubens or one of his students but who knows and he has never taken it to be appraised since he purchased it back in the day. That was just me snooping on the internet trying to find out who would have painted something so beautiful. If any art people out there recognize who might have done this piece and when it might have been done I would love to know. Sorry for the bad cell phone pictures.
Yes, you're right, it's hard to get a good look with cellphone pictures. It's a gorgeous painting, and the only way you'll get a definitive answer is to have it professionally appraised. You can start at your nearest art museum, and perhaps they can steer you to a knowledgable expert.
