This is another one of the things my mother purchased at the value village over 40 years ago and again sold to my uncle to pay some bills. This stunning vase is about 2 feet tall and has a raised applied dragon that is made of some silver colored metal and the vase has that warm glow that good old bronze has. My uncle has looked everywhere on the vase for a signature without any luck and he has had several of his friends who collect Asian art chomping at the bit for him to sell it to them. It would be cool to know who made it and when. My uncle is the kind of person who knows a good piece when he sees it and just buys it and puts it on a shelf and never checks into who made the item or when. This is another of his pieces that I would love to know more about and my mother is interested since she sold it to him over 40 years ago. I anyone knows I would love to find out more about it. Sorry for the bad cell phone pics.
Wow, now thats a nice vase you have there. I can tell you that its Chinese, but not much else. Its hard for me to date Asian pieces, but I'd say at least early 1900? Look on eBay for "Chinese bronze vase" under the completed listings to see what they're going for. You'll get a good chunk of change for it
