I beleive this to be a model 519 AMF Fire truck(mid to late 50's). All the parts are their, the ladders I think should be wood. Any input would be appreciated.

Love it, Great restoration project.
Hi EJ...I hope thats your first and middle initial. A good restoration project...yes. Funny thing though, I love the rusty patina and may leave it that way after cleaning it all up. I glanced at some of your posts and see that you live in Barker NY. Don't know where that is. Also you like gas station stuff along with the signs. That place in NY that the boys won't let pickers in looks like it would be a good pick. Have they agreed to sell you anything yet? Don't worry I live in CA, and won't be in NY. Your history of cars and racing go along the same lines as me. I started with a 57 Chevy, then a 63 SS 327 4-speed, then a 57 chevy Nomad, a 67 El Camino, 65 Chevelle SS, 70 Chevelle SS 396 4-speed. I wish I had them all back now. I do have two Nova's now, a 66 SS 327 4-speed and a 67 SS 350 4-speed auto. What fun!
Thats great that you have the 66 SS 327 and the 67, if I had the money I would have an old car like my old 63 chevy but I spent alot on my lake front home so I am restoring old gas pumps for fun and collecting gas and soda stuff. Barker is on Lake Ontario shore at 30 mile point, its an agricultural town. Have a great 4th.
This is a late 50's early 60's Murray Fire truck. It has the M on hub caps.
I have the exact same truck and had been trying to determine the year. Thank you, I now know roughly the year.
