This a 1950's Schwinn boy's bike.
It was restored as a 'Black Phantom' clone, or possible it WAS originaly a Black Phantom and new repro parts were used to restore.
Either way it's a nice bike to display or ride!
I'm curious what the price should be for a 'restored' bike of this kind
Is there a serial number on the frame anywhere? The Phantom was made for 10 yrs from 1949 thru 1959. If your frame dates to that period I'd say there's no reason to think of it as anything other than a restoration... It looks great!! Found the serial no.
It's J98313o,which according the link you sent me dates it to 05/05/1953
