this cube was essentially given to me at an estate sale. it is a magic cube from logical games founded by Bela Szalai on his return from Hungary. this is the first cube produced here in the u.s.a. before ideal toys bought the rights and called it rubiks. i cant find a price on this one anywhere but i know it is collectable. any help?
I am guessing a remake of rubix..... Possibly a 1960's or 1970's. I would think its worth 10-30$

I am a MAJOR serious collector and solver so please take my advice into consideration. For example, my most complex puzzle is the VeryPuzzle VTI. Anyhow, your cube here seems that it may just be a knock off brand. Now, don't take that offensively. Knock off brands can go for a lot of money as well especially since you have the instruction booklet there and some other paperwork. But, being that this is only a standard 3x3x3 with no special features and whatnot, age may not make it that special still. It does depend on what shape it's in as well. Just like grading a coin for example. There are many puzzles out there today that are branded as "Magic Cube" as well which usually ship from China or Thailand. So, the reason you may not be able to find a price of this anywhere is because it is a knock off brand. Rubik's wasn't the first puzzle brand to release twisty puzzles but Rubik's was the one who became famous due to their design and design quality. The 3x3x3 which is what you have here wasn't the first type of twisty puzzle to be produced either. Just keep in mind that just because you cannot locate this same puzzle online anywhere, doesn't necessarily make it super rare. It may just mean that people are calling it something else and selling it really cheap. I've never saw this description given to one before, but that may be because like I said, people may be calling it something else because many other puzzles are called "Magic Cube". If you still have it, do you mind giving me some more information about it? I'm very much interested! I'd like to see the internals. What do the edges and corners look like as well as the core? Are there any scratches on the puzzle? Are the colors paint or stickers? If stickers, are they thin or thick? Is it heavier or lighter than an actual Rubik's cube? What are the dimensions? Are the pieces hollow or solid? Are the pieces capped off or is their a hole where you can see the inside of each piece (you have to disassemble to see this)?
