I originally had these posted as possible doll boots, but was told they could be Salesman Samples for a Cobbler/Shoemaker. I know they are from the 1800s but I am not exactly sure. They could be this small so as not to be difficult to transport, however I don't know if they were brought from overseas or just traveled with about the USA. They have been in my family items ever since I can remember and were marked as being part of my Great Great Grandparents things. Obviously hand made and a perfect replica of riding or cowboy boot. Details like stacked heel, straps, and stitching are plainly recognizable. My family history is based in the MD/DC/PA area.
Comments and suggestions welcome! Still a bit of a mystery, especially age-wise.
