Odd shaped copper pot with removable domed top and tapered snout. There is a removable brass plug No markings. Top pops off.
Internet searches no help.

Looks like a distillation vessel of some sort. The gas of whatever liquid would cool and condense in the long tube and drip out as a pure compound (water, alcohol, or other chemical you could possibly want to distill). Is there any evidence of heating on the underside of the "pot"?
No hard evidence of heating in the bottom. but there is some scaling on the bottom that could be signs of heating. Inside has a white coating from use. Seams are very well done, I wonder if it was hand assembled or machine assembled. Two handles are brass with copper rivets.

Yeah, it's a nice looking piece. It might help if you post a few more pictures and maybe some dimensions.
Measurments lower part approx 6.5" deep 6.5" wide : snout 16 " long. : Top dome 3.5" dia 4.5 " high. no maker marks or stamps
I have done some research and found similar one made by The Sargant Co. dates to 1800's approximately.it is a distiller used in a lab .It was connected to a condenser that was cooled with water.
