After seeing AR8Jason's watch, I was reminded of a clock that I had, which was given to General Lyman Lemnitzer after he visited Korea. It was in celebration of 100 years of Diplomatic Relations. General Lemnitzer was a member of the 1960 Joint Chiefs of Staff. He may have been the chairman. I cannot believe that he was given such a cheap clock :-). General Curtis LeMay was also a member of this staff.
    Enjoy and thanks for looking.

Hi, most interesting posting! Can you please tell us more about this clock, the ceremony, whether yours is the very clock presented to Gen. Lemnitzer, and how you came to acquire it, please? Don't mean to be nosey. It's just that Gen. Lemnitzer was a great patriot, and one doesn't hear him spoken of much these days. U.S. Army Gen. Lyman Louis Lemnitzer (1899 – 1988) did serve as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1960 - 1962; from 1963-1969, he was Supreme Allied Commander of NATO....Thanks! miKKo

      Hi MiKKo,
It is the very clock that was presented to him. I purchased it at an auction along with his watch. Somewhere I have the card that came with it, it has the gentleman's name who presented it to the General. I was one of the underbidders on Ike's military jacket, which went for $6500. I have a picture of all the joint chief's from 1960, which I will put on later.
      Thanks for looking,
      Jim
