OK, put on your thinking caps boys and girls. Hope you can help me on this because it is driving me nuts.
Thinking a carnival prize or a company mascot perhaps.
Got this little guy today at an estate sale. I know I have seen this character before but cannot place him. Everyone I have ask gives me the same answer "boy that sure looks familiar!"
The way the shirt and socks are patterned makes me think "corn". Kellogs, Dekalb, Post? I don't know.
He's about 12" tall and made of thin rubber.
Any help is appreciated.
Well I have about decided this is a Hansel doll, as in Hansel and Grettle. The more I looked at the "overalls" the more I decided they were lederhausen. There is an H on the red cross piece between the suspenders which lends credence to this theory.
So what do you think?
No don't think it is Hansel .Thinking He is a Ad doll or a comic character . It is on tip of my tongue for a day and still won't come out :-)
I'll ad you to the list of people who have had the same reaction (myself included) LOL.
Let me know if you come up with it.
