So, two really great pieces of Kralik arrived this week, one with a label you can't miss, and this one, with impeccable provenance research behind it from CW members - take at look at Alfredo's and Leah Goodwin's posts, and indeed the contributions of Czechman and Obscurities.
This is a vase type which we have been calling meteor - although Al has recently indicated that his research into the Hosch catalogues shows that it is the "silveria" decor that is called meteor, rather than the vase shape/type. So, either way this vase qualifies as meteor, but my other one (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/54944-kralik-meteor-vase--i-think) may well not in fact be properly called meteor.
The white frit with pink glass trails is much more beautiful in real life than I have been able to capture in the pictures. The white really does have a silvery sheen that justifies the silveria tag and the pink is a delicate but stunning contrast, especially when combined with the green stirrup feet. You will notice the difference between these feet - stirrups - and the strutted foot pieces posted over the last few days. It is fascinating just how many varieties and variations of tripod feet the Bohemian/Czech producers achieved.
    I hope you like!

Thank you, Gary, that's so kind! Actually I think they are both beautiful, and I love the shell/cornucopia natural aspect of yours.
Hmmm - not sure I should tell you where I got it, what with your habit of getting there first!
Actually it was a buy it now UK eBay find and it came from Wales, of all places. I reckon it was posted wee small hours US time and I put an immediate offer on it before you lot could see it. I've learned my lesson!

Thank you Scandi! This one makes me think of a great big pink and white foxglove - or maybe a delphinium ; )
