I need help identifying this antique steamer trunk. I've ordered books, researched online and cannot figure out anything of the maker. The only legible thing on the label left is iest.be or jest.be-not sure if it is an i or j? Trunk is black leather, cloth interior (striped, but faded), two drawers, & two sets of pull-out rods to hang clothes on. If anyone knows who the maker is or how we could figure out the identification of the trunk please email me at louy0315@hotmail.com and let me know any information you may have. Thanks so much!!

Just a little to help in your search -- it would be called a wardrobe trunk. Also it is not covered in leather but canvas. The style and type looks French or European. If you posted a picture of the remains of the label that may help. Good luck with your search.
