    Hi, everybody-
My first post so hope it's okay - anyway, was cleaning out a basement & discovered this beauty - it's @ 29" tall. The odd thing, I think, is that the thermometer goes from 120 degrees to -90 degrees. Tried a brief search online & can't (or haven't) found anything quite like that range! Any ideas? Thanks very much.

      Welcome to the site.

I'm not a Coke collector but I am sure someone on here can help with your item.

Generally speaking ebay is one of the better places to start your research.

Also, if you use all of the photos (4 available) on your postings it is more helpful. Include pictures of the backs of your items and close ups of any markings.

      Again welcome to the site!

      Hi All!
Thanks to all the input & the welcomes! This seems like a cool group ;>
I put a few more shots up - there is no manufacturer or anything printed on it that I can see.

Appears to be an original 1960's thermometer, but not 100% sure, there should be a manufacturers name on the bottom (just above the bottom screw hole). Picture 3 is what makes me think its original, the repo's were made in Mexico and have fahrenheit and celsius, the originals were made in USA and only have fahrenheit on them.

Thanks coke.trevor.cola - searched all OVER and could find NO other printing, nor any place where the printing may have been! Also, still wondering why the low end of the scale goes all the way to -90 degrees? Was it intended for a military base in the Arctic?

Nice find dj! These larger thermo's were not marked with Manufacturer's name, but yours is the orig. older version, booked @$85, made 1958 according to Petretti's. I have the same one.
      Cheers!

pickrknows, if you are still around to see this, the $85 this thermometer was booked at, was that depending on condition? I have one and it's rusty but not ruined, thermometer still works.
      Thank you

Or please anyone who knows if condition makes this worth go up or down.
