Found at a recent Estate Sale, this lady had more Carnival Glass than I had ever seen before, two full rooms of it with more under the tables and scattered throughout the house. Mostly Northwood, a few pieces of Fenton and some Imperial. I'm wanting to say this is Imperial. Anyone out there ever seen anything like this before, I can't find a mark on it anywhere? Thanks in advance for looking.

I have had shades like this. They are usually two parts combined. Above this stalactite or bullet shaped shade there is a bowl shaped shade with a straight side. I will try and shoot the shade tomorrow and post it for you. I have had these deeply etched iridescent shades signed Germany. I believe that Bellova made Acid etched iridescent shades too with a 2& 1/4 fitter. They are also attributed to Steuben. I think many companies made acid etched Iridescent shades so without a specific pattern or shape being found in a period catalogue or found in any of the well researched books available, it is not possible to attribute a maker just based on the fact that it is acid etched and iridescent in either as your shade or aurora borealis. Just my two cents worth. I am sure there are others far more able to help. I will look forward to hearing from the learned of the group. I am just a novice.

Oh, I should have said, I do not believe this is considered Carnival glass.
