Help! Tell me about this leather table!!

It is a leather coffee style table. On the left side has a coat of arms, either Peruvian, or Yugoslavian. In the middle is a picture of South America with Lima highlighted and a ship, similar to the Mayflower. On the right is some other kind of crest. We just bought it at an antique store for $250 and all the owner could tell us is it was from around the 1930's and that the leather was hand carved. Did we over pay? Please help identify!! Thank you!!
