Wondering what this is and what value it might have. Was purchased in the mid 60's for $300. It's carved and evidentially Oriental. Any ideas?

Jim,
Thanks for the information. I've been hoping someone might have a clue or at least point me in some direction. I'll do some more research, but if you think of anything else, please let me know.
Thanks.
CMorgan
I realize I'm a bit late, but this is the only thing I've found when looking for information on a dry bar that shares those etches. This one is less shiny, more rounded edges, with a basic border carved around the images. It has a plate in it that reads, "Ta Chung Furniture & Souvenir Co." "Free China" with a globe between the two words. "No.30 Chung Shan 2 Road KeeLung Taiwan." With what I can only assume is the same things written in Taiwanese or Chinese.
Hi there. I believe I have one very similar to yours. However it's not as shiny. My parents received this from an old friend who was stationed over in China and had it brought over to them in New Orleans at the time for their wedding gift. It was believed that there were only 2 or 3 of these cabinets to have been made. My mom passed five years ago and I took it to keep in the family. My dad did have someone back in the 80's approach him wanting to buy it and offered him quite a bit of money in cash to take it. I would love to hear more about yours if you would like to contact me by email. randihermann77@gmail.com
