Found this pull toy at an antique mall. It is mostly wood and fabric. Appears to be somewhat old. I think it may be made by Brio toy company out of Sweden, but not sure. Theres no plastic, ears are nailed on. The makers mark has been removed but it appears to have been where Brio placed there's. Also the pull string has been yanked out. It has been well used, one of the wheels has some damage. Any thoughts as to how old it is? I didn't pay much for it. It looked older than the other pull toys at the booth. It appears to be hand made. Anyways, thanks for looking.
Yes it is a looks like a Brio made in Sweden . Has all the look of their work . Very nice ! The Company I believe is still operating
BRIO is a Swedish toy making company which specializes in wooden toys. In the year 1884 Ivar Bengtsson, a basket maker from Boalt in Scania founded the Brio toy company. It was then operated from Osby in scania for more than a century. Ultimately in the year 2006 the company was shifted to Malmo. Brio was taken over by ivar's three sons in the year 1908. BRIO stands for Bröderna Ivarsson or the brothers who are son of ivar.

Just after the company was founded, it started BRIO Lekoseum which is a toy museum which contains thousands of toys from the company as well as other companies like Barbie and Märklin model railways. This was founded at their headquarters in the city of Osby where children can play with these toys

Brio specializes in making toy trains made from wood. These Biro trains were first sold in Europe in the year 1958 and the company never looks back since then. i like it. the seller had several pull toys and the others were old, but i hadnt seen one of these before. he has been well loved over the years
