i have antique wrist watch of jaeger le coultre 1940. now also it is in running condition.i want to know about todays value of the watch.
JAEGER LE COULTRE: Stainless steel Jaeger LeCoultre manual wind British Military issue strap watch, circa 1940's. Satined white metal case (35 x 45mms excluding crown) with sloping bezel, substantial shoulders with fixed strap bars, in very good used original condition. Stainless steel screw case back with military issue markings: WWW F12363 283023, and the Admiralty "broad arrow". The issue numbers are repeated inside the caseback, along with the LeCoultre signature. Fine original matt black dial (light surface scratch between 12 and 1) with printed white minute railway track with white arabic numerals and luminous five minute marks, and subsidiary seconds dial, signed Jaeger LeCoultre (with Admiralty arrow), and Swiss. Original luminised skeleton hands. Very fine frosted gilt Jaeger LeCoultre calibre 479 manual wind movement (no. 323754) with Geneva stripe decoration and jewelled through to the centre in very good working order. Fitted with a military style nylon strap with white metal fittings. Jaeger LeCoultre was one of 12 manufacturers contracted to supply WWW watches (ie. Wrist Watch, Waterproof) to the British military forces during the Second World War, and good examples are now becoming very rare. but i have.
