These 3 prints/photos hung on the wall of my mothers house for as long as I can remember, over 60 yrs. I'm not game enough to pull them apart to find out, the paper and cardboard on the back of them is not in very good condition, they appear to be pasted onto cardboard which is bubbling in some places causing them to ripple slightly. as you can see they're in a variety of frames, I have them sitting on a shelf at present , not game enough to hang them by the brass wire in the back of them. A strip og timber along the front stops them sliding off.
I love these! Especially the first one with the black horse. It looks so much like the 31 year old one we still have grazing out around the barn... with her 32 year old sister! Thanks for sharing these.
glad you like them chinablue, they've been put away for the last 10 yrs but out on display now. wow 31 & 32 sounds old
I really do, oledebil. I've had horses all my life and love artwork of them, especially the vintage prints and paintings. And yes, our two are literally getting long in the tooth. :-)
There was another picture that came with these smaller but a pic or a print I don't know. top part of a woman feeding a horses head. it was meant to come to me but my sister carried on no end about it so I let her have it on the proviso that it comes back to me or my son. har har not gunna hold my breath on that one.I.ll try and take another photo of that first one and you might be able to print it out if that's allowed.
I don't know if it is or not, but I certainly appreciate you offering to do that! And I hope you DO get that other picture back. :-)
Yep, 31 & 32.....I feed em' every day and when they see me coming They don't act their age!
I do LOVE these. I, myself am a sucker for the bay!
