I got this bracelet from a friend of mine, and started to investigate it's origin because of the stamp/ plaque I found on it which reads ORIGINAL FAHRNER, underneath the stamp/ plaque is a circle with TF inside and the 925 stamp. I would love to find out what year this was made (I believe around 1932), but would love any information anyone has on this. I am also wondering what the value might be as I can not find a pricing guide for Farhner jewelery anywhere! I love this bracelet, it is absolutely beautiful, especially the way the marcasites catch the light.

Agram.m - I have found lots of pictures of his pieces but nothing to indicate what mine might be worth or what time frame it was made in. Marcasite and sterling seem to be around 1932 I think but not sure....

I think around 1920/1930. It depends where you wants to sell. But I expect several hundred dollars.

Beautiful bracelet... Your assumption on the time frame is what I would have guessed....20s-30s. This highlights his fine engraving skills. Please do your homework if you are going to sell......many farhner pieces fetch handsome prices. Lovely piece of jewelry.

Hi lr44, sorry I missed your message to me 5 months ago, I don't think I ever actually got it. Today I was checking out images on fahrners and saw your bracelet. So. The "original Fahrner" mark that is on your bracelet dates it at the earliest to late twenties. That's straight from the book on fahrner's. The filigree jewelry started in the thirties. Post-1932. To me yours isnt really the filigree, though. Price...while some of it is highly collectible, others are not that sought after. The more complex the piece the more valuable. So if you have silver, multiple types of stones in separate settings (like onyx, amazonite, marcasites), enameling, it's more collectible. If it is just silver and marcasite, it is still good because its a Fahrner but it was more common. The book I have has pricing in it but failed to put prices on the filigree jewelry. Recently on eBay one went for..$200.00 another went for $135.00. Again sorry I missed your question, hopefully you get my tardy reply. :-)

      Hello,
This page may help with various ranges in price. Looking very closely at a couple of pieces of his, it was necessary to find my smelling salts. Truly to swoon over. I notice that this is a three year old post......mmmm.....hope someone comes by to see. I wonder if your bracelet can be cleaned a little. But, do be careful and find someone who would know how to clean it first. These beautiful pieces can quite often suffer disaster.

LR44 - You're very welcome. I'm so glad you saw my post. I've bought many vintage items on Etsy. What's you greeting card store's name? I'll go have a look. Don't think I'm breaking any CW rules? I'm amazed by the intricate work by this jeweller.
Nice to meet you, welcome to CW. If you friend has any other items they feel like giving as gifts...........
