I can't identify the markings on these cans......can anyone help? They are both around 24" tall.
The rustier of the two has what appears to be NM&C CO on the top of the lid.
The shinier of the two has CPMCo.......or CPM Co on the topside of both handles.
These are new to me but cannot identify what the markings mean. Help me??

Love these old cans! I can remember my aunt and uncle's 'spring house' where these were stored in running spring water every day until the milk man came by to pick up milk. Sorry I can't help you with the markings, most likely they are dairy or milk processing company names. This link may be of help and some interest, especially their 'contact us' link. Good luck in your search and thanks for the nostalgia rush! :-)
