I've sold thousands of items over the years at flea markets and various online sites and only regret letting go of a few, like these two.
Both pieces are prime examples of Scandinavian modernist jewelry. The first is a Bent K Denmark neckring of sterling silver with an amethyst druzy, the second is a Bjorn Weckstrom ring for Lapponia of Finland.
Both exhibit stunning mid-century design elements--they're bold, sculptural and beautifully made.
Bjorn Weckstrom for Lapponia of Finland! I missed out on thirty odd pieces that a friend bought instead twenty years ago. A retired jeweller was selling off old stock. A missed opportunity etched indelibly into the memory banks!
Oh, that really is too bad. He's considered one of the most important and innovative Scandinavian designers, and is still active.

Wendy, they are just stunning!
Hey Katya, We've got to stop meeting like this! Yes, big regrets about these two. I've actually had two sterling and gold Weckstrom pieces, but this is the one I miss....
