I need some help from you trench art experts. Is this plane considered trench art. It has the words "Sicily 1944" on it wings. Someone painstakeingly engraved this. It has been on my desk for years. Any help would be welcome. It does not have wheels but sits on a brass block.
German Stuka-- a very typical piece of TRENCH ART from the Italian theater.
Most of these are made out of cast aluminum.

Thanks Scott, !!
By saying "typical" I wasn't trying to lessen the collectability or desirability of this airplane. All trench art planes are desirable and highly valued by collectors. ALL of these that I have ever seen are marked from the Italian theater. I have never seen them with any other markings.
If you like trench art airplanes-- be sure to take a look at some from my collection (WW1 and WW2) that are posted on this site.
