Two oil cans, it's a start, just need a few more sizes!
The one on the right is the special one, it is a Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) oil can.
    Diameter 4"

They are really nice, how many oil cans do you have?

I should have phrased that differently, I only have two vintage oil cans, but I have lots of other stuff in my collection.
Thanks for the love packrat & pw-collector.

Thanks For the L's Hedge, stonesfan, billyg , gargoyle & mikie

@ billyg, I'm not sure if I will ever stay focused long enough to collect a few dozen.

      Thanks for the comment gargoyle.

There, there, mikie it will be okay, look for a baby oil can & tend it lovingly & wait a few decades....

I remember we had some long stemmed cans. We used these to put oil in the duck nest. (thats the top of the trucks where the cars ride on the wheels)

I didn't know that these were used after the steam era.

Hi Phil, I don't think they are very common, I think my Dad may have got it at a sale. The little one belonged to my Grandfather & if I look some more I'm sure I'll find a few more laying around the farm.
Thanks for the love & checking out my post.
