Flori Meydam large dish 23.5 cm diameter 5 cm high serica nr 76 Long stretched airbubbles with antimoon-craquele inclosed in thick clear glass.

Crackle TECHNOLOGY matte white or glossy black enrichment of the glass surface by vapor deposition on the hot Porst of a layer of stannous chloride, further blowing, free or in a form, causes cracks in the metal layer, because it can not expand with the hot glass, with the addition of antimony creates the black crackle, hot vapor deposition results in a fine crackle , les hot results in a coarser crackle, it is also possible, before or after the vapor-deposition to blow the Porst into a "optical form" : with the further blowing continues at the crazing of the "ribs" more highly visible, you can also add a second layer of glass , so that the craquelé-effect is incorporated in the glass.

I think there are Leerdam pieces in the States Leerdam exported alot ( the dutch dont like to so spend money ) in 1934 they had a showroom on 5th avenue in N.Y.
the trouble is most is not marked only the Unica and early Serica pieces are marked.
but the dutch glassmuseum has there entyre collection online and they have almost all leerdam pieces so you can always check. http://www.nationaalglasmuseum.nl
