    THIS IS A BAKING SHELL FOR POTATOES. THERE IS A SPIKE IN THE CENTER TO POST THE POTATO ON.THE SPIKE IS HOLLOW SO AS TO HELP BAKE FROM THE CENTER OUT. IT HAS A SPRING LATCH TO HOLD IT SHUT. THERE ARE NO MARKINGS AS TO MAKER OR YEAR. DOES ANYONE KNOW? THANKS

      A cool piece of streamline design from the '30s! These were marketed as the "Top-O-Stove" Potato Baker by the Na-Mac Products Corp. of Los Angeles.
