Hi, this is a German made Wardrobe trunk from about 1910 to 1030. Moritz Madler Co. of Leipzig, Germany was the largest trunk maker in Germany and patented the trunk style like this with the narrow wood slats and canvas covered wood body. This was most likely a ladies model wardrobe due to the special hat holder and the long hangers in the left side that were dress or gown hangers. The interior is in great condition! A very interesting trunk and you don't them that nice very often. Marvin
