    Picked this up today and was wondering if anybody could help.I think its Moser glass.Not sure of age and think it may have a cover thats missing.Thanks for any info.

      Hi Coca

      This is Veneitan Apocathery Jar without the lid. They gilding style and painted decoration were reminiscent of 17th century Venice and Museum pieces with this style of decoration still exist today. The deep red glass is made by combining Gold oxides with clear glass which when under heat, change colour to produce this stunning red glass
