    I always think its great when you put a collection together, don't you think these celluloid wrap advertising look just great? When you think most of them started off as complimentary gifts by the companies at the time, so when you took your match out to light your pipe, it was another talking point.

      There is so much to see, each won is worth posting in it's own right.

      These are a mystery to me. I can see they advertise. I can infer that the advertising is made from celluloid wrapped around something. But what is it wrapped around? Is it a metal box match holder? What are they???????

      I love seeing collections posted. especially as you would have them displayed at home. It's nice to see the subtle differences in similar items like the horse head marchsafes. How long did it take to amass such a fine collection?
