Inherited this lamp and am just wondering if anyone knows anything about it. Came from my mothers home that she grew up in. Thank you for any guidance.

Hello DonH, I believe your lamp was made by either Riviere or Apollo Studios. The glass appears to be Kokomo Sunset glass and not their usual green. The finish is usually a green patina, but yours looks like it was a polished brass. Yours also has a floral design, which is also not usual. For a Riviere lamp with a grape leaf pattern that sold for $2,600 go to http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/9327324
Here is an Apollo with pink glass and pine needle design that sold for $700 http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/7028770 and another that sold for $2,500 http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/6966649
I think yours at auction would realize $1,500-2,000. I hope this helps, thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks for the information JohannB. THose are the closest that I have seen. Where do I look for a makers mark? I am thinking the inside of the hanger is where I saw the date and inscription, but just not sure. Are they usually on the shade or the hanging piece?
I am thinking the finish was polished brass at one time, of course now its pretty dark. Needs a good cleaning under the brass as well.. Seems many years of use has it dirty. What is the best way to care for this lamp? Kind of afraid to touch it other than screw in bulbs, as you can see, we only use two since it gets so bright with a full set.
